Beyond Urfff!

Postby Kbslayer » Wed Oct 22, 2014 12:37 am

New Civilization game comes out in just a handful of days, and pre-loading has already started. If you enjoyed Civ 5, but wished it was in space, and had giant worm monsters, and you could be robots and shit, pick it up. Looks like it should be super solid.

Also, for those of you who already have it, Firaxis released a release time map, based on timezones and stuff.

Meh, think I'll wait until it's 75% of, including all DLC. You just can't beat those prices.

So sad that university internet will not allow me to play any multiplayer games besides MC. Would have loved to play a N@W MP game of this.

I went ahead and picked this up. It's selling for $37 on Green Man Gaming if you have an account with them. Under the VIP tab.

I am excited to play this.

I am gonna be playing so much of it when it hits. Doomsday clock sitting at 25 hours. I'm pretty jazzed.

I've played it a bit, and I can only say that I think Alpha Centauri is 50% better.
Proud citizen of The Hammersong Empire.

So, what you are saying is that Beyond Earth is still 120% better than most games. I'll accept that.

You could use Asian proxy once to unlock the game earlier.

Hope this Civ is worth the price tag :)

There are 30% off codes from green man gaming if you want to buy it. You should be able to get one if you voted for the Joystick game awards (when they were giving our a free copy of Xcom: Enemy Unknown, and 80% off the dlc).

Still not going to buy it this early on, university is killing my wallet. If anyone wants the discount code, just let me know, as I'm not going to use it.
