What happens to a server on a bad patch day

Postby Empirical » Wed Dec 17, 2014 4:43 pm

Was just clearing out my old photobucket account and thought I would share this:

This is what happens to a server on a bad patch day when Emp and Shadow are around (and other people).

Some background: This is the server that followed Ein's ColRap server after it fell due to the Halloween update breaking everything we loved. Shadow was admin at the time and I was pleb player.

I'm surprised you let something like Ham's fortress stand in the first place. When did your cobble-phobia start anyways?

I've played quite a bit of MC with Ham and I know how he builds, he played for Water Nation and Empire too. I basically don't mess with his stuff. He will literally build whatever he is building entirely out of cobble but then will slowly replace the cobble with other materials once he has the shape where he wants it. I let that man do his work.

Oh story time. For the longest time creepers didn't damage the world in multi-player, only single. This was the day they patched that. So we took a snapshot of the world the night before and decided to have fun the day of the patch until addons were updated.

I don't know if that was patched that day as well but the big thing about that day was that they finally "fixed" health in multiplayer. However, when players died they ended up as some kind of ghost player, it was weird.
