My poor CRAPtop really disagrees with Minecraft (yet it runs Planetside 2, albeit poorly), so servers are incredibly laggy for me and run at about 5 frames per second, so that's mainly why I haven't been around. I'm doing my first custom desktop build today though (Black Friday parts sales <3), should be completely done when I get back home for Christmas on December 12th. For now though, I'm just running proofs of concept to find the easiest way to cram as many block-cows into as few blocks as possibru without it being classified as a lag machine

My laptop does the same :/ But that's why we have desktops! Good luck on yours by the way, building is fun haha. I expect it's going to take a surplus of time to get our cow pop up to par so no rush haha after all, the library isn't even close to finished yet (I'm thinking 4 floors . . . . . . yeah)

Spoiler:

Does this look funny to anyone else? My brain got stuck on it when I tried to read it out loud haha :3:

Just how many cows do we need? I honestly don't think it'd be that hard to get up to liek 2 or three hundred. I'm more worried about getting iron for hoppers to put under them all. do we have the resources to spare or do we need to pick up everything by hand?

I haven't the slightest idea how many . . . . I can supply a decent amount of iron so I think we should be good with hoppers :)

Alrighty, I'll start making those later today (gotta finish an end-of-semester research paper, fairly short) and then I'll dig ourselves a mass-cow-breeding pit and we can let the lagfest begin. do you have sufficient sugar for the books as well, or do we also need to expand that farm?

Awesome! I'll be on later today as well (PST). Last I checked, we had a chest full of sugar cane, not sure how big the current farm is but if it needs expanding it should be an easy task :D

EDIT: Took a look around the place, couldn't find a reed farm at all . . . . .

Really? it should be right behind the wheat and in front of the tree pit close to the netherwart as ya walk in . . . strange.

EDIT- Holy crap the place looks different. Also, it seems we've been completely robbed of most of our public storage valuables and private chests, only Bounces' protection is still active. Furthermore, the faction seems to have been disbanded, and anythign we have left is vulnerable (although it seems we've been cleaned out fairly thouroughly) My guess is that protections like these go down after a month or two of complete inactivity. Did you notice any of this? also, somebody is terraforming something big outside out gate, not sure what it is, but it looks like crap.

Lots of things to address . . .

1. I noticed the protections so I took what I could of valuables and threw them in mine until further protections could be set up.

2. Faction disbanded? As far as I know it's still active because I can use the commands for it. I don't think you are in it though (not sure if I can invite or not but I will test it out, you might have to wait for Zapp :/ ) The protections for chests do go down eventually I think but Zapp and I have been on frequently enough to prevent ours from dropping I believe.

3. As far as I know (based on posts in this here forum) Ragandar/Zapp/Unknown Assailant tore the shit out of the cliffside whilst trying to implicate a waterfall entrance/loot . . .

4. Looks like Zapp was removed from the faction due to inactivity????? . . . . Charmisokay is now the leader but I've never seen him online?

Alrighty. check my status and if I'm not in the faction please re-invite me! I thought the faction borders were down because I haven't been getting little notifications when I cross over where I thought the border was.

hmm . . . I'll check and see if we have claimed land still. I can't invite you though because I'm not high enough in the ranks, only the leader can and he's . . . absent . . . . . :(

Yeah, I started taking it down to build a proper waterfall, but then university got in the way. I should be able to do some work on it again soon-ish.
