All I'm going to say on this subject. Is if I happen to see a floating ANYTHING (without some obvious explanation). I'm going to give gravity a helping hand and bring it down myself!

No, because there is a reason they are flying(which we don't know yet), wiki says "Evidence of what these islands once were can be found across their windswept surfaces" so let's wait and see why they float.
Maybe it is a failed experiment by the mages from when they tried making things float, which ended up allowing them to have "Sanctum Arcana" flying above Stormhaven

Floating roads are the worst, but even a bridges that doesn't look like the supports could actually support them are bad and don't get me started on giant 1x1 towers.

There also seems to be a larger incidence of "Floating Tree" syndrome, where people cut down the trunk and are too lazy to cut the rest down, leaving a floating tree. I cut down these trees wherever possible. Although, DeShadowC's suggested solution that these people tend to explode, which is admin for "/spawnmob creeper 5 <offender>" or "/shock <offender>", seems a tad excessive. This server needs a jail, that's a good solution for these scum.

On my old server, they called me the Physics Police. The rule is simple.

Any construction or alteration to the world must be physically or magically possible if you are expecting it to last longer than a few days at most. Lame explanations for magical/physics are not accepted, e.g. "The giant floating completely cobble turd is magically held up by invisible yet pink derpy pegasus ponies."


In the short term, all this is OK; say you need to get somewhere high in war. However, at some stage that physics atrocity will have to be removed.
